About Addiction Services Council: Programs, Staff & Mission

Addiction Services Council (ASC) is a nonprofit community-based organization that helps people affected by substance use and related disorders. ASC believes these problems are illnesses that can be treated, and recovery is possible for individuals and families. For over 70 years, ASC has offered support and programs to people in Cincinnati and nearby areas to help them live healthier lives.
ASC works to build a community free from drug and alcohol abuse. They provide services to reduce stigma and offer prevention, assessment, treatment, education, and advocacy. These services include crisis help, counseling for individuals and families, group therapy, workplace training, school programs, and peer support from people who have recovered.
ASC runs the Recovery Health Access Center (RHAC), a 24/7 helpline with trained staff to help people find support anytime. They connect clients to local treatment providers and offer case management to coordinate care. Other services include drug testing, addiction education, and community outreach. ASC helps individuals and families move toward healthier, more stable lives.
