Another Way, Inc. is a licensed men’s halfway house offering 5-6 months of residential care for adults age 21+ recovering from addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. The program supports clients with a history of substance use, including alcohol, heroin, meth, and more. It helps men rebuild their lives with structure, independence, and daily support in a safe, recovery-focused setting. The program uses a three-phase treatment model built on the 12 Steps, intensive counseling, and life skills education. Clients participate in evidence-based and holistic therapies such as relapse prevention, pet therapy, music and art, horticulture, ropes courses, and trauma-informed care. A staff psychiatrist supports clients with medication and co-occurring disorders, while group work and peer support encourage accountability and connection. Residents live in a supervised, community-based setting with shared rooms, daily chores, and set schedules that promote responsibility. Meals are shared family-style, and men help with preparation. Amenities include a fitness center, garden, pond, recreational activities, and outings to parks and recovery events. Transportation is provided for meetings, appointments, and job support, encouraging real-world practice and community integration.
