Crisis Resource Center - South

Operated by Centers for Independence, this community-based center offers 24/7 personalized responses to crisis, focused on recovery and serving as an alternative to incarceration or hospitalization. The Crisis Resource Center has rooms for people to stay in to stabilize, offering a home-like environment, and see an average of 1,270 people annually. Services at the Crisis Resource Center can include assessments, peer support, psychosocial groups, counseling, housing support, employment counseling, benefits coordination, and more. They use a trauma-informed approach to care and offer telehealth and telepsychiatry services with follow-up care as necessary.
