For those dealing with addiction and co-occurring medical disorders, Grandview Foundation is a nonprofit organization that offers detoxification, residential treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, and outpatient programs. Residents of Los Angeles County who are at least 18 years old and have Drug Medi Cal coverage are welcome at Grandview. While intensive outpatient and outpatient therapy are available only men, residential treatment and sober living programs are only for men. One-on-one therapy with a licensed therapist, group therapy, 12-Step facilitation, and a variety of leisure activities are all included in the evidence-based curriculum. To give each patient an individualized, close-knit treatment experience, therapy groups are kept to a maximum of 12 members. Relapse prevention, finding safety, anger management, self-esteem, domestic violence, and many other issues are covered in groups. The Grandview Foundation wants clients to feel at home by providing residential treatment in a home-like environment. Homes are fully furnished and provide comfortable accommodations throughout California.
