Set in West Palm Beach, Inspire Recovery has a program that exclusively focuses on issues relating to the experiences of LGBTQIA individuals who struggle with co-occurring substance use. Inspire has an effective outpatient program that helps people overcome substance use. Inspire also provides art-based groups, wellness groups, and a life skills program to prepare clients for independent living in addition to evidence-based therapy and relapse prevention. Clients attend 12-step sessions at Lambda North, the neighborhood LGBTQIA clubhouse. Additionally, clients have access to the neighboring LGBTQIA facilities like Compass Community Center and Care Resource. Inspire Recovery has developed a special housing component to go with our treatment center that is in line with our aim to establish a safe environment for the LGBTQIA community in recovery. Their program is Joint Commission accredited and accepts public and private insurance. Inspire Recovery’s projects combine enjoyable and soothing arts and crafts activities, making them suitable for people of various artistic ability levels. Their Creative Steps Group offers the chance to turn the inspirational 12 Steps into something tangible that can be seen, handled, and taken home as a reminder of where to maintain a client’s attention throughout recovery. At Inspire Recovery, we are committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community and welcome allies who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning. Beyond a person's appearance, sexual orientation, and gender identity, we are sensitive to and conscious of variety. We address a person's entire being, not just their addiction. Their program has focus on practical wellbeing with weekly meditation, yoga, Tai chi, and on-site nutritionists.
