Lifeways Rapid City’s mission is to inspire and equip youth to be healthy and substance-free. They aim to provide prevention, intervention, and treatment to help students overcome substance use. Their vision is to empower youth to live without the burden of addiction. They work with schools and communities to achieve these goals, supporting over 7,000 youth annually. Therapies and SupportOffers a variety of therapies, including individual counseling, group sessions, and family support. They focus on building skills, improving decision-making, and using motivational interviewing (MI) to help youth understand their choices. These therapeutic approaches are designed to support lasting recovery and teach young people healthy ways to cope with challenges. Supportive Environment and Family InvolvementLifeways offers a safe, supportive environment for youth, providing care at schools and their main office. The center’s programs are designed to fit into a young person’s daily life, with afterschool sessions and family involvement. By working with schools and families, Lifeways helps ensure each youth receives the support they need for lasting recovery.
