New Found Life has extended care options for patients who need a longer amount of time in intensive care.
New Found Life specializes in treating drug and alcohol detox, however they know that their patients come in having endured trauma and other painful life experiences, so they take each patients’ mental health into consideration when creating a treatment plan. For patients with dual diagnoses, New Found Life provides individual counseling and psychiatric care. All patients are introduced and immersed into 12-Step programs while under care at New Found Life. In addition to 12-Step groups, patients participate in group counseling and individual counseling. They also have the option to benefit from therapies that can uniquely resonate with their interests, such as equine-assisted therapy, yoga, meditation, recreation therapy and music therapy.
New Found Life provides a recovery support group for medical professionals which meets through a secure online platform. This program can provide referrals for other services, such as psychotherapy and discharge planning. The meeting is always facilitated by the same clinician, who is an expert on medical professionals with addiction. He provides guidance and structure as the group has in-depth conversations and transformational meetings.
