Medication management by psychiatric providers includes daily check-ins to ensure stability and support.
Patient rooms at Riverview are organized by age group to ensure safety and appropriate care, with 24/7 supervision in a secure, supportive environment. Clients engage in therapy sessions in designated group rooms, connect in recreation areas, while youth participate in daily education services. Courtyards offer outdoor space for games and reflection, while therapeutic activities and calming spaces support emotional healing, resilience, and personal growth.
Riverview understands that both their inpatient care and day programs are only one step on someone’s healing journey, providing each client with a comprehensive aftercare plan before they leave. Discharge planning begins on the day of admission and may include referrals for outpatient services, support groups, and other community resources to help clients build on the progress they made during their time at Riverview.
