Focus
This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.

The Link Halfway House is a licensed residential program for adult men (19+) recovering from chronic substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Residents must have completed a short-term treatment program and maintained at least 30 days of sobriety. The program provides 9 to 12 months of structured support in a sober living setting for people in recovery who no longer need intensive treatment. Treatment is grounded in the 12-step model and the whole-person approach. Each resident receives an individualized plan that includes individual and group counseling, psychoeducation classes, relapse prevention, employment coaching, and life skills training. Licensed counselors and peer recovery staff work closely with residents to help them build emotional wellness, responsibility, and long-term recovery skills. Residents live in a safe, home-like facility staffed 24/7. They are expected to work 40 hours weekly or volunteer 20 hours if on disability, and manage their own medications. After graduation, alumni receive free outpatient therapy and can join a supportive alumni group. Most continue recovery through the nearby Lincoln or Truman Houses, which extend structure and peer connection.
