Their team of doctors and clinicians begins by performing social, psychological, and physical assessments to develop a treatment plan unique to each client’s situation. They combine medications, psychotherapy, life-skills training, and holistic therapies to build upon the client’s strengths and help them learn new coping skills to overcome their challenges. Case management and a custom aftercare plan also prepare clients for success when they return to “everyday life.”
Set on over 20 acres about 40 miles east of Columbus, The Trails serves up to 18 clients at a time in a former estate thoughtfully retrofitted for comfort. Clients enjoy private or shared rooms with cozy beds, luxury bathrooms, a modern kitchen, and meals that are either catered or cooked onsite. Relaxing spaces like a covered porch and deck overlooking a pond, plus fitness equipment and hiking trails, enhance the retreat-like setting. Free transportation makes admission easy and stress-free.
