Focus
This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.

Set in Fort Lauderdale, this outpatient center sits among sunny beaches and winding canals, creating a refreshing backdrop for change. The program offers day or night partial hospitalization (PHP) with community housing and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) designed for individuals seeking support from substance use and co-occurring disorders. The IOP program typically includes about nine hours of groups each week plus a weekly individual session, with plans that often run 30 to 180 days based on progress. Men and women’s residences are separate for focus and safety, with staff transportation to the clinical campus. The center follows a holistic approach combining evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art and equine therapy, and medication management. Life skills and wellness activities, including psychodrama, yoga, meditation, anger and stress management, nutrition support, and family counseling, helps turn new insights into daily habits. For opioid use disorder, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) includes FDA-approved options paired with counseling to support stability and reduce cravings. Clients meet one-on-one with licensed therapists, work daily with certified counselors, join peer groups, and attend weekly outside 12-Step meetings. Families are invited to learn and participate, and an active alumni program supports aftercare. Veterans and first responders can join dedicated tracks that reflect their experiences and needs.
