Interim House

Interim House is a nonprofit residential and outpatient center specializing in empowering women, including pregnant women, who are seeking recovery from co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, including alcohol dependence and trauma. They offer a full range of care levels: residential (short-term and long-term), halfway housing, intensive outpatient, and standard outpatient treatment, providing a continuous path to healing and independence.
The program uses a holistic, recovery-focused approach that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Women receive evidence-based care like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma recovery groups, individual and group therapy, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Services also include job training, creative therapies like art and dance, parenting classes, relapse prevention, and community connection support.
Located in Philadelphia's Mount Airy section, the main site provides a safe and comfortable environment for residential and outpatient arrangements. Amenities include an on-site art studio, multipurpose rooms, and access to outdoor areas for fitness and reflection.
