Founded
1970

Memphis Recovery Centers is a nonprofit organization with over 50 years of experience treating addiction and co-occurring disorder treatment. Since 1970, they have provided compassionate and individualized care to individuals in need. They offer a full continuum of care for adolescents and adults ages 13 and older, as well as gender-specific treatment groups. Memphis Recovery Centers employs evidence-based therapies in their treatment approach, but puts a special emphasis on experiential therapies. Art and music therapy are central to their treatment approach, allowing clients an outlet to express themselves in new ways and develop new coping mechanisms. Memphis Recovery Centers’ continuum of care includes a residential treatment program for adolescents ages 13 to 17. The adolescent program is on a separate campus, with 20 beds available in 2 historic homes. Their professional staff provides 24/7 supervision and compassionate care, with an understanding of the unique needs of adolescents in treatment. Memphis Recovery Centers treats addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders with family therapy, life skills training, experiential therapies, and psychoeducation. Adolescent clients can continue their education while in treatment through Memphis Recovery Centers’ in-house school, Transitions Learning Center. With a low student to staff ratio, students receive the academic assistance they need to succeed.
