This center provides 36 beds for men and women looking for short or long term inpatient residents. Mountain Laurel Recovery Center is located in Westfield, Pennsylvania and is a gender-specific, residential program that offers a 12-Step and holistic approach to treatment. Mountain Laurel Recovery Center focuses on treating alcohol and drug addictions, as well as the co-occurring mental health disorders associated with them. They also offer on-site detoxification for clients suffering from opiate, alcohol, and benzodiazepine dependence. Mountain Laurel Recovery Center uses evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) while also implementing aspects of 12-Step recovery. Clients receive individualized, group, and family therapy sessions. An individual session is required at minimum once a week but can also be on an as needed basis. Mountain Laurel Recovery Center has a full medical staff that consists of licensed therapists, nurses, counselors, and physicians. They have a ratio of 1 to 2 therapists per 12 clients.
