Northern Pines Mental Health Center - Staples

The clinic provides community-based mental health care for adults, children, adolescents, and families. Adults can access therapy, psychiatric services, and skill-building through the drop-In center or Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS). Children and families receive counseling, case management, and specialized early childhood treatment. Programs are tailored to address emotional, behavioral, and daily living challenges.
Services help clients improve stability, independence, and quality of life. Adults may receive dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) for mood or behavior concerns, group support, or medication management. Children and teens build coping skills, improve communication, and succeed in school. Youth ages 14–21 with mental health challenges benefit from Youth Assertive Community Treatment (Youth-ACT), an intensive program offering therapy, education, housing support, and crisis intervention.
A visit may involve meeting a therapist, consulting a case manager, or joining a skills group. Adults might practice daily routines or learn stress-management techniques, while children take part in play-based therapy or social activities. Each session is designed to build strengths and provide practical tools that make everyday life more manageable.
