Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using methadone is designed to help reduce opioid cravings. Pyramid Foundations Medical Services also offers individual therapy implementing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help combat negative thought and behavior patterns and establish healthier ones. Clients engage in specialized group therapy, learning coping and relapse-prevention strategies, sharing their experience with others and learning from others in similar circumstances.
