Pyramid York Detox and Residential offers treatment for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. Clients needing detox from alcohol and other substances receive medical monitoring and withdrawal management from nurses and doctors on staff, helping ensure a comfortable start to recovery. Pyramid Healthcare also offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Suboxone and Vivitrol to help reduce substance cravings, especially for opiates and alcohol. Collaborating with patients, psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for co-occurring mental health conditions.
Pyramid York offers individual therapy, implementing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). Clients engage in group therapy, including life skills groups focusing on finances, job preparation, community resources, and nutrition. Treatment incorporates both 12-step groups and non-twelve step approaches like SMART Recovery and Refuge Recovery.
