This evaluation enables placement into outpatient programming, PHP, day treatment, IOP, sober living, or detoxification. Both conventional therapy and evidence-based therapies are available to clients at SLO Recovery. Relapse prevention, role-playing, CBT, DBT, ACT, exposure therapy, and story therapy are a few of the therapies. Acupuncture, yoga, and mindfulness-based meditation are examples of holistic therapy. SLO Recovery also uses several education and skill enhancing techniques such as non-violent communication, brain and behavior, life skills, and healthy relationships. SLO recovery is an all-inclusive program that allows for the entire family to start, develop, and participate in a healing process. Family involvement is a cornerstone of the SLO program. They provide services such as family counseling, family intervention, and recovery mentorship.
