Acenda Pittsgrove

Acenda Integrated Health (also called simply Acenda) is a nonprofit behavioral healthcare provider offering over 100 life-enhancing services throughout New Jersey. Acenda serves individuals of all ages, plus families. Their specialty is serving at-risk individuals and families. They have accreditation from the Joint Commission and the state of New Jersey.
Their treatment takes an evidence-based approach that includes the common talk therapies cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) with medication-assisted treatments (MAT) and medication management. The medications for substance use cravings or mental health support make it possible for clients to focus more on their treatment and better support lasting recovery. These services tend to last 12-16 weeks.
Some less common therapies that Acenda has experience facilitating are parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) and trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT) for cases where those therapies apply. They can also tweak their therapy to meet the needs of veterans, individuals with autism, pregnant women, and moms with kids up to 3.

Along with housing, moms receive parenting support, job counseling, peer support, and life skills. Acenda can serve 10 women at a time, along with their children, with this program.
