They believe that clients are healthy at every size, and they are never weight-focused. Center for Discovery Cypress treats anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder (BED), avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, orthorexia nervosa, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Center for Discovery Cypress employs a registered dietitian, nurses, and a medical doctor. They are accredited by the Joint Commission and accept most major insurances. Center for Discovery Cypress is located in a beautiful and spacious estate. The accommodations are intimate and home-like. They have shared bedrooms and bathrooms and can accommodate up to 8 clients at a time. The dietary program includes individualized menu planning and meal preparation, restaurant challenges, grocery list and clothing shopping, exposure and response prevention, hands on kitchen skills, and nutrition education. They have an arts and crafts room, pool, and group session rooms.
