Located in San Diego, California, Confidential Recovery is an intensive outpatient program (IOP) treating adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This Joint Commission accredited center provides an array of evidence-based and holistic therapies in a safe and confidential setting. Their team of professional staff provide therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement therapy (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Additionally, they bring in outside professionals who facilitate sessions of yoga, music therapy, and hypnotherapy. As a 12-Step based program, clients are required to attend at least 3 outside meetings per week with a recovery group of their choice like AA, SMART, or Refuge Recovery. Confidential Recovery offers support to the veteran community of San Diego. The Veterans program includes evidence-based therapies, family therapy, mindfulness based stress reduction, yoga, group therapy, and treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The program is staffed by a veteran in recovery, providing a lived experience touch to the program. Confidential Recovery partners with TriWest and is recognized as a Veterans Affairs Patient-Centered Community Care (VAPC3) provider. Confidential Recovery also offers an IOP through telehealth, allowing clients to receive treatment with greater flexibility.
