This provider offers residential treatment for adolescents ages 10-17 who are struggling with mental health issues like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They also address substance use and complex trauma, including experiences with human trafficking and self-harm. Set on 14 peaceful, wooded acres, this center provides a safe, structured environment focused on healing and growth. Their unique programs include specialized tracks for pregnant youth and victims of sexual exploitation.
The center employs an individualized approach, tailoring therapeutic services to each youth's specific needs. They use proven methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and neurofeedback. Treatment also includes individual, group, and family therapy, medication management, and specialized education focusing on self-harm triggers and emotional regulation. Their staff includes licensed psychotherapists, nurses, and psychiatrists.
Residents are provided healthy meals daily in an on-site cafeteria and are paired with roommates by age and gender. The campus features an accredited year-round school with small class sizes, smart boards, and certified teachers, allowing students to earn credits during treatment. Recreation, leisure activities, and a beauty/barber shop are also available, promoting personal wellness and a sense of normalcy.
