Set in Katonah, a restful community about 75 minutes north of NYC, Four Winds Westchester cares for children 5+, adolescents, and adults with mental health conditions at their 88-bed private psychiatric hospital. They use a personalized treatment plan that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and medication management. Their residential, day, and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are accredited by the Joint Commission and certified by the state of New York. The children and adolescent spaces incorporate schooling. Four Winds welcomes up to 2 adult visitors by appointment for an hour each week. If visitors can't make it onsite, they can visit via Zoom.
