Legacy Recovery Center - Mesa

Legacy Recovery Center is a residential mental health and substance use treatment center located in Mesa, Arizona. They’re owned and operated by clinical psychiatrists and focus on providing individualized, clinically excellent care. Upon entry, each client will receive a comprehensive mental health and biopsychosocial assessment to create their individualized treatment plan. If clients are transitioning from a detox facility to Legacy, their medications will be reviewed and updated as needed. Legacy Recovery Center does not accept state insurance or Medicaid.
Masters-level therapists deliver therapy at Legacy Recovery Center. They can independently treat mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma. Two clinical psychiatrists run the center and connect with clients frequently. In addition to treating mental health conditions, Legacy Recovery Center can also help those struggling with substance use disorders, including alcohol and drug addictions. They offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who need it, and medication assessments upon arrival to help ensure that each client receives the best possible care.
Legacy Recovery Center offers a wide variety of therapies to help both mental health and substance use clientele. They provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). Clients will participate in group and individual therapy, with 1:1 therapy ranging from one to several times weekly. For clients with trauma, Legacy offers trauma-specific therapies such as prolonged exposure therapy (PE), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and eye movement therapy (EMDR). Family therapy is available, as well.
Legacy Recovery Center provides nutritional care, yoga and meditation, physical exercise, and other supportive services to create a holistic treatment plan. Their spacious home features private and shared rooms with full-sized beds. Outside, there is a pool, hot tub, walking trail, and citrus trees. In their backyard, Legacy hosts a variety of fireside events including meetings, fellowship, meditation, and outdoor groups. Legacy Recovery Center accepts private insurance and does not accept state insurance or Medicaid.
