Wellness Activities Nestled in a nature-filled residential neighborhood, Midwest Recovery Center’s Toledo campus is dedicated to serving those in the community who are fighting substance abuse. Clients can retreat from the stress of daily life while in our substance abuse treatment programs. Their program provides an opportunity to heal mentally, physically, and spiritually as well. This is why we incorporate exercise into our program with wellness opportunities such as yoga and exercise sessions, chiropractors, massage therapists, nutrition education, and recreational therapy. Gender-specific Care Midwest Recover offers a spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care, with specialized gender-specific programs for men or women. These programs help address psychological and emotional issues that uniquely impact men and women. Midwest Recovery PHP, IOP, and outpatient treatment that focuses on group therapy, 1-on-1 counseling, family therapy, and medical care. Some of their provided therapies include dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma therapy. Midwest Recovery also provides programming for adolescents and young adults. Additionally, clients can continue treatment through Midwest Recovery’s recovery housing program with supplementary career counseling and community treatment meetings. Sunny, Friendly Campus Midwest Recovery offers sunny, welcoming space for clients. Their campus features group therapy rooms, separate spaces for smaller groups or individual therapy, and rooms for exercise and wellness. Clients can participate in group exercise sessions, massage sessions, meal planning, and chiropractic sessions. Midwest Recovery Center is Joint Commission and accepts private and public insurance.
