"Established in 1988, Millcreek Behavioral Health is a leading residential treatment center in Arkansas for children and teens ages 6-17 struggling with mental and behavioral health issues, developmental disorders, and addiction. Behavioral health conditions can include severe acting-out behaviors, bipolar disorder, depression, mood disorders, aggression, poor impulse control, anxiety, high-risk behaviors, self-injurious behaviors, psychosis, ADHD, post traumatic stress disorder, and many more." Millcreek Behavioral Health’s goal is to "meet the client where they are in their struggles and offer a safe, structured treatment environment for them to heal and move towards a happier, healthier life." The treatment center focuses on providing a number of different programming options like a developmental disabilities program, a psychiatric disorders program, and an education and school-based program. A team of caring professionals are well versed in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-specific therapy, family conflict resolution, sand therapy, and play therapy. Therapy is personalized to the specific needs of each individual. The Millcreek campus is located on 37 beautiful acres in Fordyce, Arkansas. The Campus provides a safe and comfortable environment needed for healing. Millcreek has an indoor basketball court and plenty of green space for playing sports and enjoying recreational activities.
