Peaks Recovery Center uses a holistic approach to recovery combining 12-Step meetings and 1-on-1 therapy. After medical detox, treatment can include CBT, DBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), art therapy, experiential therapy, EMDR, and family counseling. In addition, Peaks Recovery Center provides holistic treatment activities such as meditation, creative expression, yoga, fitness, skiing and snowboarding, fitness, and life skills training. Peaks Recovery Center believes that better routines in exercise, relaxation, and nutrition help replace old negative habits with ones that promote long term recovery.
