This hospital exists to be a source of hope for patients and their families who are struggling with mental health and substance use disorders of all kinds. They provide comprehensive care ranging from assessment, inpatient, day treatment, and continuing care. Their compassionate medical and clinical teams are committed to helping you heal from your addiction by providing medication and therapies that build a foundation for success in recovery. Their treatment includes education around the disease, individual therapy, group therapy, case management services, relapse prevention, family education, recreational therapy, life skills training, medication management, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Sharp treats clients 6+. For young adults 18-26, they provide transitional age programming to help adolescents adjust to stress and develop healthy routines in this new part of life. For adults 60+, their geriatric care addresses dementia and other aging-related complications that can affect mental health and substance use. Day treatment and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment are offered at Sharp for patients who do not require 24-hour supervision or are stepping down from inpatient care. Their continuing care program lasts for a lifetime at no cost to the patient. In this program, clients learn to solve the issues that come along with transitioning back to home, work and community in weekly support groups. Patients can also find therapists to engage in regular counseling. Sharp's aftercare app provides access to and information about aftercare.
